After apparently receiving a shock marriage proposal from boyfriend Jamie Hince on the magical island of Mustique, you would think that Kate Moss would be grinning from ear to ear.

But Kate seemed less than happy when she was spotted outside her London home today.

Hince, who surprised Moss on her 36th birthday, proposed to her with a diamond ring that was chosen with the help of Topshop tycoon and friend, Philip Green.


Kate Moss spotted leaving her North London home without an egagement ring.

However, the diamond ring was no where to be seen on the model's finger this afternoon.

Of the reported proposal, a friend of the pair told the Daily Mail: “ Kate and Jamie are in a good place, they already live together and this is the next step to settling down for good.”

The couple met in 2007 shortly after Kate ended her relationship with former boyfriend Pete Doherty.
