Fans will be able to watch a special 3D tribute to Michael Jackson at the Grammy Awards later this month.

The mini-movie, featuring the late singer's hit 'Earth Song', was originally recorded for his ill-fated comeback gigs in London last summer.

"It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes," Ken Ehrlich, co-executive producer of the Grammys, said.

Viewers will have to wear special 3D glasses to watch the footage, which also appeared in the recent Jackson documentary, This Is It.

Meanwhile, the singer will also receive a special lifetime achievement accolade from the Recording Academy at the ceremony.

The 52nd Grammy awards take place on January 31.
