Twilight star Robert Pattinson has been added to the line up for the Hope For Haiti telethon on Friday, it's been reported.

The 23-year-old British star is apparently set to act as the sole presenter at the London leg of the fundraiser.

Jay-Z and Bono are also due to perform, according to E! Online. Other names experted to appear include Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston.

Entertainmentwise approached MTV for confirmation about Pattinson's involvement but was still awaiting response when this story went to press.

George Clooney will act as the main host during the bi-coastal telethon for the victims of last week's devastating earthquake in Haiti.

The show will air across a host of US networks, including MTV, ABC and CNN, on Friday.

Viewers in the UK can watch the telethon live on MTV UK from 1-3am (GMT). It will also be repeated on Saturday (January 23) on VIVA and MTV at 9-11am.
