Demi Moore was forced to miss last night's Golden Globes due to illness and a “bad hair day”.

The actress, who was expected to attend alongside husband Ashton Kutcher, revealed via Twitter that she wouldn't be present.

Demi posted a picture of herself looking dejected on the site and said: “Feeling sick and having a bad hair day.”

But her illness didn't stop Ashton from attending the ceremony in Los Angeles to present an award alongside Jennifer Garner.

Demi praised her husband's tuxedo outfit on Twitter, saying that he was “looking dapper”.
