Katie Price is considering her future on Twitter after receiving a barrage of abusive messages, it's been reported.
The former glamour model is thought to have grown tired by all the “intolerable” comments from followers about her split from ex-husband Peter Andre.
She is also thought to receieve unpleasant messages about current boyfriend Alex Reid.
“She gets lots of really lovely messages from her true fans who look up to her and they are an absolute pleasure,” a source told the Daily Mirror.
“But in the same breath, there are the mindless idiots who bombard her with crude, abusive comments – which are there for all the public to see.
“She tries to ignore it but it’s hard not to be upset. She is considering all her options.”
A number of celebrities, including Lily Allen, have quit the popular social-networking website in recent months.
But at present Price is still using Twitter and revealed on Sunday that she would stand by Alex after Celebrity Big Brother.
