Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have both repeatedly denied reports that they are a couple.

But that didn't stop them from putting on a very public display of affection at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles last night.

The chemistry between both stars, who also appear alongside each other in forthcoming film The Bounty Hunter, was obvious as they presented the award for Best Screenplay.

Jennifer Aniston rested her head on Gerard Butler's shoulder at LA ceremony.

Standing side by side on stage, Gerard said it was “an honour” for them to be presenting the prize, before Jen gently rested her head on his shoulder.

The actor also jokingly hid the result from his co-star as he prepared to read out the winner.

Jen and Gerard were first linked last year during filming for The Bounty Hunter, which is due to be released this spring.
