Taylor Lautner is plotting to win back Taylor Swift with a diamond ring and roses, it's been reported.

The pair, who star alongside each other in forthcoming film Valentine's Day, split last month, despite never confirming their relationship.

However, the National Enquirer reports that Lautner, 17, has not given up on their relationship and plans to surprise Swift when they're next in Los Angeles.

“He plans to overwhelm Taylor with four dozen red roses, a diamond friendship ring and a romantic dinner date when they’re both in Los Angeles,” a source said.

“He whole-heartedly believes they have something special and that it’s worth fighting for.”

Swift, 19, is reported to be too career-focussed to have time for love, but Twilight star Lautner “isn't accepting her rejection”.

“The way he sees it, this is nothing more than a minor setback in an enduring love affair,” the insider added.

The pair are understood to have struck up a close relationship on the set of Valentine's Day, which is released next month.
