Twilight star Robert Pattinson will play Uma Thurman's husband in new movie, Bel Ami.

The 23-year-old British actor stars as French journalist Georges Duroy, who is notoriously successful with the Parisian ladies.

The film adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's book of the same name will also star Christina Ricci.

The former Addams Family actress plays Clotilde de Marelle, the wife of a railway official, and one of Rob's love interests.

Kristin Scott Thomas will also feature in the movie, according to Production Weekly.

The film, which is due to begin shooting on location in London and Budapest in February, is set for release in 2011.
