Keira Knightley and Rupert Friend dispelled reports of a rift in their relationship as they were spotted in London last night.

The pair snuggled up to each other as they braved the freezing temperatures to enjoy a romantic meal together.

Both Keira and Rupert, who met while filming the 2005 film Pride and Prejudice, are currently appearing in different West End productions.

In December, Keira appeared to cast uncertainty over their relationship in an interview with The Times newspaper.

The 24-year-old actress appeared to make reference to her own personal life during an interview about her play, The Misanthrope.

“She's having a problem with her boyfriend. No comment,” Keira said.

But the couple looked very much in love as they left J. Sheekey's restaurant arm-in-arm in the early hours of this morning.
