Goth shock rocker Marilyn Manson is understood to have proposed to his actress girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood.
Despite reports in the Daily Mirror and People that the two got engaged at a Paris concert on Monday, E! News claims that the on/off couple were engaged at a Paris show, but back on December 21st.
A source said that the 41-year-old Antichrist Superstar, aka Brian Warner, proposed to the 22-year-old True Blood actress while performing onstage, bringing along a ring and a rose.
The two spent time backstage after looking very much loved up.
The pair met in 2006 when Evan starred in the Marilyn Manson video Heart Shaped Glasses, fuelling rumours that he was cheating on then wife, burlesque star Dita Von Teese.
They endured a turbulent 2008 in which they broke up on numerous occasions, before fully reconciling at the end of last year.
Marilyn Manson recently admitted that he found their break so difficult that he was moved to change his ways.
He said: “Me being at my best is what I need to be. That really paid off because I am back with Evan.”
In the past Evan has been linked to actors Edward Norton and Mickey Rourke.
