It’s official - Catherine Zeta-Jones only goes for old men.
The Welsh beauty, who married 65-year-old Michael Douglas in 2000, is 25 years his junior and says she could never be in a relationship with a younger man because she finds them “selfish and narcissistic”.
She explained to German InTouch: “I know that young men are more unbiased, playful and firmer.
“There’s no question about that. But they are also more selfish and narcissistic. This is why they never had a chance to go out with me.”
Catherine added: “I need a man who is sensitive and caring. Someone who is superior to me and I can lean on. But that does not mean that I fancy fat old men.”
The 40-year-old mother of two went on to reveal that Michael is a real softy at heart, and that the age gap was never an issue for the Oscar winning couple.
She said: “He sends me flowers and cries when the kids say something particularly pathetic.
“We didn’t care about the age gap from the beginning on. We relied more on our emotions and feelings. It was like that and should always be like that.”
