Joe Jonas has revealed he wants to star in a James Bond film.

The Jonas Brothers star said he was so keen to break into acting that he was willing to play a villain in the 007 franchise.

"I'm willing to read for anything. Acting is something I love and I want to do it all,” he told the Daily Record.

“It would be an awesome dream to get a part in a James Bond movie.”

Joe said he and his brothers – Nick and Kevin – were all “big fans” of Daniel Craig, who plays Bond.

“DC is the best and it would be an honour. It's a prestigious film series,” he added.

Meanwhile, it has emerged that Sam Mendes is in talks to direct the next Bond film, which is expected in 2011.

The director's previous credits include American Beauty and Revolutionary Road.
