Kate Hudson has turned to old fame Owen Wilson following her split from Alex Rodriguez, it's been reported.

The pair, who ended their relationship in April 2009, are said to have re-established their friendship in recent weeks.

Kate left baseball star A-Rod last month following a nine-month relationship.

Reports today claim the actress had grown tired of his continued attempts to keep in contact with former girlfriend, Madonna.

A source told The Sun: "She gave him three chances then hit the roof. How would you feel if your boyfriend kept calling his ex?"

Meanwhile, In Touch Weekly reports that friends of Kate and Owen believe the pair have “unresolved feelings”.
