Brooke Mueller is trying to save her marriage to Charlie Sheen and has asked a judge to amend the order against the actor who was arrested on Christmas Day.
Sheen faces multiple charges including second-degree assault after a heated argument with Mueller in Aspen, Colorado.
The actor's wife made a 911 call at around 8 a.m. in which she alleges Sheen threatened her with a knife which she describes as a “switchblade”.
However, Mueller has mounted a bid to save their relationship, hiring O.J. Simpson's lawyer Yale Galanter who plans to file papers in court so the couple can resume contact so that they can “work on resolving the conflicts in their marriage”.
Despite Sheen facing up to eight years in jail Galanter has dismissed the incident as “one bad night” adding that the couple “have two children together and they love one another”.
