Brittany Murphy's mother Sharon Murphy and husband Simon Monjack made desperate attempts to revive the actress before paramedics arrived, reports claim.

According to the documents written by Investigator Blacklock, Brittany, who had been complaining of abdominal pain and shortness of breath for 7-10 days, went to the bathroom and locked the door.

Half an hour later her mother went to check on her and “discovered the decedent lying on the floor unresponsive.”

The notes, seen by TMZ, go on to say that her mother yelled for help and Monjack, who was in bed, heard the screams and run to the bathroom.

While Sharon Murphy called 911, Brittany's husband tried to revive her by  “placing her in the shower and running the water.”

The notes then reveal that, “the decedent remained unresponsive and purged her stomach contents prior to the arrival of the paramedics.” By the time they arrived Brittany was “without signs of life.”

When paramedics moved her to the bedroom they reportedly found a large collection of prescription drugs in actress' name.

Also noted were, “numerous empty prescription bottles medication bottles in the decedent's husband's name, the decedent's mother's name and unidentified third party names".

The notes also say, “No alcohol containers, paraphernalia or illegal drugs were discovered."

Monjack told investigators that he was not alarmed by Brittany suffering from shortness of breath and abdominal pains in the days leading up to her death because, “she often suffered from severe menstrual pains.”

Police at the scene told Investigator Blacklock that, “foul play is not suspected.”

On Monday, Monjack said his world had been "destroyed" by his wife's death.
