Tiger Woods' mum has been left “devastated” by her son's infidelity, but has vowed to help him through the situation, according to reports.
The married golfer's private life has come under the spotlight in recent weeks amid claims he has had sexual relations with up to 14 other women.
A friend of Woods' mother, Kutilda, said she had been left “angry and disappointed” by the revelations.
But the 65-year-old, who raised the golfer alongside his late father Earl, is apparently planning to stand by him.
“She wants to know how he could do this to his family,” a source told the Daily Mirror.
"It was devastating to her. She likes Elin and adores her grandchildren. She doesn't want to see them hurt."
Woods has been linked to a string of women since he was involved in a car crash outside his Florida home last month.
On Monday, it was reported that the golfer had fled the state on his private yacht to enjoy a Christmas break in the Bahamas with friends.
