Watching Britney Spears' chaotic life unfold in the media spotlight can sometimes leave us wondering which, if any of it, is actually true.

People.com reports that Britney has launched a new page on her website called The Year in BS in which her and her people separate the truth from the drivel by ranking the 75 most outrageous stories.

The post on britneyspears.com says: “There were more than 13,000 stories written about Britney in 2009. We ranked the ones that were the most ridiculous. Either because they were factually inaccurate, because they reported the patently absurd, or because we believe they are simply offensive to the sensibilities.”

The No. 1 story is from the Mirror back in January when they reported that the star was dating Indian choreographer Sandipp Soparrkar.

Other tales about the 28-year-old singer include: that Australian fans were outraged by lip-syncing at her concert, she suspected her father of drugging her and that she wanted to become a Baptist Minister.
