Here's Nicole Kidman on the red carpet apparently unaware her face is covered in big splodges of white power.

The Aussie star's make up malfunction occurred as she posed for the cameras in a daring black gown at the New York premiere of new movie-musical Nine.

Close up, the actress looked as if she had fallen head-first into her powder foundation brush, with a thick dusting of white under both eyes and on the tip of her nose.

You would have thought that, with such a large ensemble cast – including Penelope Cruz, Fergie and Kate Hudson – on hand, somebody might have pointed out her make up mishap.
