Sarah Jessica Parker has said she finds reports that she doesn't get on with her Sex and the City movie co-stars “offensive”.
The actress's relationship with her co-stars has been the subject of constant speculation since the original TV series began twelve years ago.
Most recently it was claimed that Parker had fallen out with Kim Cattrall, who plays Samantha Jones.
But in an interview with Stylist magazine, the 44-year-old said she was tired of the rivalry reports.
“We're very tight, despite what people try to say. We've gone through something together that only we can understand,” she said.
“I love these women. Nor could I imagine anyone else playing those characters.
“This year it'll be 12 years since we did the pilot. To speculate that it's not harmonious is, frankly, offensive.”
Parker added that when she and co-stars Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis reunited to film the forthcoming movie sequel to Sex and the City their relationships “sprang back”.
The film is due to be released next summer.
