Peter Andre has said he is confident he will have found a new girlfriend by next Christmas.
The singer is currently preparing to spend his first festive period apart from ex-wife Katie Price.
But Andre told New! magazine he was ready to start dating again and expected to be with someone by this time next year.
“Yeah, I really do think I will be with someone this time next year,” he said.
“But I think it will happen very slowly and I’ll have to really get to know them before I bring them into the family.”
When asked if he was ready to date again, the singer replied: "I do feel like it will happen, yeah. I’ve just got to find the time to meet someone.
“My life is so hectic! I love it, though.”
Andre also revealed during the interview that he was still upset that he had been “forced” to divorce his wife of nearly four years in May.
“Career-wise 2009 has been the best year of my life, but personally, it has been the worst," he said.
Andre and Price's divorce was eventually fianlised in the autumn.
