X Factor mogul Simon Cowell wants to transform winner Joe McElderry into the new Zac Efron, it's been reported.
Plans are already said to be in place for the 18-year-old singer, who triumphed in last night's talent contest final, to be flown to American in the New Year.
He is expected to put pen to paper on a lucrative £5million deal, which could see him follow in High School Music star Efron's footsteps.

X Factor winner Joe McEdlderry is embraced by mentor and judge Cheryl Cole.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Simon has already set the wheels in motion for Joe's Stateside success.
"He has been bombarded with offers from TV and film studios and is in the enviable position of having several incredible offers.
"They all want someone to fill Zac Efron's shoes, as he's fast moving out of the teen market now he's 22.”
The unnamed source added that McElderry's English accent was a “real draw” for American audiences.

Cole looked happy as she left the X Factor studios in West London last night.
The singer, from Newcastle, won last night's X Factor ahead of fellow finalist, Olly Murs.
Bookies' favourite McElderry released his debut single, a cover of Miley Cyrus's The Climb, straight after the programme.
It is expected to top the UK singles chart on Sunday - becoming the fifth year in a row that an X Factor winner has topped the Christmas countdown.
