Renee Zellweger was something of an over-achiever at high school judging by these pictures.

Her high school yearbook photos show the actress kept busy at Katy High School in Katy, Texas - and embraced 80s fashions in a big way.

Classmates voted Renee "Dream Date" in her senior year, and she was a member of the Drama, French and Speech clubs.

She was the sophomore class vice-president during her four years at the school, part of the Homecoming Queen's Court as a senior, and a member of the Good Sportsmanship League, which helped Katy High build up good relationships with other schools.

Renee is also shown sporting a big perm and even bigger shoulder-pads at the Christmas dance and in a fashion feature.

Phew! These days Renee is content to just be a Hollywood superstar.
