Mariah Carey enthusiastically marked her territory at the The 2009 Unicef Snowflake Ball in New York last night.
The singer thrust her arms around husband Nick Cannon's neck and showered him with kisses on the red carpet at the charity event.
When not manhandling her hubby, Mariah sucked in her tummy and posed solo for the cameras in a satin floor-length gown with a plunging neckline.
Meanwhile, GMTV's Kate Garraway has publicly apologised to the singer for accusing her of being a diva during a recent appearance on the UK breakfast show.
The presenter had claimed in her magazine column last week: "She had two people to lower her on to the GMTV sofa, in case her dress got crushed. And one person to walk in front of her backwards at all times in case she fell over and several people behind the camera making sure she was going to be filmed from the right angle."
But the presenter was full of remorse this week, after apparently being contacted by the singer's people.
"I am really sorry about the furore I caused last week,' she writes in her latest column. "It was wrong for me to add some jokes and gossip about Mariah being a diva.
"Her management have now told me that I got hold of the wrong end of the stick completely and I am still reeling from the massive ticking off my bosses gave me for fuelling the rumours that she is unreasonably demanding...
"I am so sorry, Mariah, and I really hope you come back to the UK soon."
