X Factor stars John and Edward are set to make a guest appearance on The Simpsons.
Fox producers said they had been impressed by the 18-year-old Irish twins' appearance on the reality show.
It is understood that the big-haired brothers could play a central role in a forthcoming episode alongside Homer, Bart and co.
"Castings are not something we can talk publicly about, but we are taking a look at the boys,” a spokesman told The Sun newspaper.
"We love anything Irish - we set a whole show there last year. They are certainly charming and good-looking fellows."
John and Edward – dubbed Jedward by fans – have continued to attract a huge following, despite being voted off the singing contest last month.
Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams are among the celebs who have admitted to being a fan of the pair.
