David Hasselhoff has denied reports he spent Thanksgiving weekend in a psych hold in a Los Angles hospital.
US media reports had claimed the former Baywatch star was hospitalised after suffering a seizure at his home in Encino on Friday.
It was also alleged that Hasselhoff was kept in a 5150 psychiatric hold, which is most commonly issued when a person is deemed to be a danger to themselves, or others.
However, the actor's lawyer told E! News that his client was at home and “fine”.
He added: “I'm not sure where that information is coming from."
Hasselfoff's well-being has come under the spotlight in recent years after his daughter Taylor posted a video of him drunk on a bathroom floor on the internet.
The actor has received treatment for alcoholism at various US rehab clinics throughout his career.

Britney Spears checked into rehab three times during an eventful week in February 2007 which saw her shave off all her hair. It was third time lucky, however, and Britney stayed put at Promises clinic for nearly a full month.
