Peter Andre has denied reports his ex-wife Katie Price begged him to take her back.

On Friday, a report in The Sun newspaper claimed the former glamour model had phoned Andre after her exit from I'm A Celebrity.

She was said to have told the singer that she “messed up”.

However, in a message on his Twitter page, Andre denied the claims and another tabloid story that suggested he was to sue his former wife.

He wrote: “Apparently Kate begged to have me back. This is not true...sorry. Things are made up everyday. Let's not believe all that's written please.

“All talk about suing and stuff comes from where????? Any 'pal of pete' is obviously not a pal.

“Anyway let's concentrate on positive things.”

The singer went on to reveal that he was recording a new song today for “something that will be announced soon”.

Andre and Price's divorce was finalied in the autumn.
