Alex Reid's mother has hit out at Katie Price after she dumped her son on live TV.
The former glamour model shocked viewers on Monday when she called it quits on the pair's five-month relationship to be “on my own”.
Reid's mother, Carol, blasted Price for being “very cruel” and said she had not been able to get hold of her son.
"He really loved her and gave up a lot for her, and this is how he gets treated by her,” she told the Sun newspaper.
"I can't get through to him at the moment. All I know is that he is in Australia and his phone is off.
"He must be upset. I'm worried for him."
It had been reported that Reid flew to Australia to propose to Price, who quit I'm A Celebrity after the public turned against her.
According to the newspaper, Price is expected to stay in Australia to film scenes for her reality TV show What Katie Did Next.
