A group of Robert Pattinson fans were thrown out of The Bowery Hotel on Friday night, it's claimed.

The enterprising R-Pattz devotees reportedly pretended to be hotel patrons in order to gain access to the “guests only” section of the bar, where the New Moon heartthrob was drinking with some male pals.

But their close proximity to their idol was short-lived after security realised they had given fake room numbers and removed them from the premises.

"Rob just kept lowering his hat," an eyewitness tells the NY Daily News. "He wouldn't even look up as they walked by."
