Cheryl Cole and husband Ashley put on a show of unity on a rare night out, amid rumours their marriage is in crisis.

The pair looked every inch the devoted couple as they attended Sarah Harding and Kimberly Walsh's joint birthday bash at Sarah's new club, Kanaloa, in London.

After the stir caused by the absence of Cheryl's wedding ring during her recent X Factor appearances, she was careful to flash her rock for the cameras.

This month the Girls Aloud star hit back at claims her marriage is in trouble by posting a picture of herself brandishing the rock on Twitter, along with the caption, "3 words. Diamonds Are Forever".

Cheryl emerged from the party clutching on to Ashley's hand and looking a little tired and emotional.
