Hulk Hogan was apparently left covered in blood after a press conference descended into a vicious brawl.

Hogan had been joined by some of the biggest names in professional wrestling to kick off his "HULKAMANIA - Let the Battle Begin" Australian tour when the animosity between himself and rival-in-the-ring Ric Flair erupted in a physical fight.

According to an eyewitness account, journalists at the event “were stunned as the Hulk's head began bleeding profusely and confusion broke out when the veteran wrestling star was unable to get to his feet.”

Given the fakery involved in professional wrestling, it's unclear just how much of the bloody incident was a pre-planned stunt to promote the tour, which would see Flair come out of retirement to fight his old rival.
