Alex Reid has admitted he's already missing Katie Price after she flew to Australia to appear on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The cage fighter, who began dating Price in July, is daunted at the prospect of being without his girlfriend for up to three weeks.

“I'm missing her to bits. The longest we've ever been apart is a couple of days,” Reid told New! magazine.

The former actor also said he planned to still see Price's youngest two children while she was in the jungle.

But he admitted that he would need to avoid bumping into Junior, 4, and two-year-old Princess's father and Price's ex-husband, Peter Andre.

“We're not at that stage yet. But it would be nice to do that in the future though," he said.

Price entered the jungle on Monday – five years after she first appeared on the reality TV show.

Meanwhile, Andre, who met his ex-wife on the programme, revealed today that he had turned down the opportunity to appear on the current series.
