Taylor Swift has again denied reports she's dating star of The Twilight Saga, Taylor Lautner.

US media reports have frequently linked the pair, who appear together in forthcoming movie Valentine's Day, over recent months.

They were also spotted together at an ice hockey game in Los Angeles in October.

However, in an interview with InStyle magazine, Swift, 19, insisted she had taken the decision to remain single.

She said: "I'm in the mind-set where I choose to be single - like I got to light scented candles and write in my diary and I wouldn't have time for that if I had a boyfriend right now."

Last month, Lautner, 17, remained tight-lipped about the reports and said it was up for the media to decide whether the pair were a couple.

Meanwhile, Lautner joined his Twilight Saga co-stars at the premiere of New Moon in Los Angeles last night.
