Katie Price has said she is returning to I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here' to find “closure” and bring to an end a “crap year”.

The former glamour model will re-enter the jungle this week five years after she first appeared on the show.

Price met ex-husband Peter Andre on the programme in 2004 and the couple had two children before splitting in May this year.

Speaking about her return, she said: “I'm doing this because I've had a crap year. This is closure.”

“For others, it’s a game show. For me, it’s closure. I’m going back to a place where a big fairytale began for me.

“I met my husband, I had two more beautiful children and six years on I’ve been married, divorced, ready to go back in.

“I’ve had a crap year and the fairytale has ended. I’m going in for closure.”

Price is reportedly set to receive £350,000 for her return to the jungle.

Meanwhile, this year's other celebrities, who include ex-Page 3 star Sam Fox and actor George Hamilton, entered the jungle over the weekend.
