Katie Price struggled to explain what she did for a living during an appearance on US chat show Chelsea Lately on Thursday.

The former glamour model appeared nervous as she was questioned by host Chelsea Handler.

When asked to explain what she did for a career, she replied: “God, well, how long have you got?”

Handler then placed Price in an awkward position when she replied: “Six minutes.”

The TV host also thanked her guest for helping the US economy after she revealed she travelled to the country every three months to have her hair and botox touched up.

“I'm mad aren't I? Price said. “Not that I'm high-maintenance or anything.”

Handler then added: “Well, you're really helping our economy - we could use it.”

Price's appearance on US TV comes ahead of her expected return to the jungle on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

It has been reported that she will enter the show, which begins on Sunday, seven days after her fellow celebrities.

Price first appeared on I'm A Celebrity in 2004, when she met ex-husband Peter Andre.
