Britney Spears' Twitter followers were informed that the singer was in league with Satan earlier today.

Her official account was updated with: “I hope that the new world order will arrive as soon as possible! - Britney” and “I give myself to Lucifer every day for it to arrive as quickly as possible. Glory to Satan!”

Britney's camp confirmed the posts were the work of a hacker, and they were swiftly removed.

“This morning, Britney’s Twitter was hacked," said a statement posted on her official blog. "We apologize for any offense the message from the hacker caused and are working with Twitter on remedying the situation as quickly as possible.”

The singer's Twitter account was targeted by hackers who posted obscene comments back in January.
