Peter Andre pulled out of making a return to I'm A Celebrity over reports ex-wife Katie Price is also set to appear, it's been reported.

The singer, who met Price on the TV show in 2004, had apparently agreed to work as a behind-the-scenes reporter.

But he is now understood to have backed out after it was reported that Price would arrive late as a returning contestant on this year's programme.

“Pete was really looking forward to going back to the jungle but as soon as he found out that Katie was going to appear, he said there was no chance in hell he would go,” a source told the Daily Mirror.

“Pete reckons there’s no way he could speculate on Katie’s antics and any outback flirtations in an unbiased way.”

As Entertainmentwise reported yesterday, Price is expected to enter the jungle seven days into the three week series.

The show, which begins on Sunday, will also feature celebs Sam Fox, Lucy Benjamin and George Hamilton.
