Robert Pattinson paid tribute to the “explosive” nature of Twilight fans at a party for the latest film in the vampire saga in London last night.
Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen, was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
The trio are currently in the middle of a three-week promotional tour for The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Speaking on the red carpet, Pattinson admitted he was still struggling to come to terms with the public's response to the franchise.
“It's unbelievable. It was kind of similar last time in London as well but I'm always surprised by the fan reaction everywhere – it seems to be just explosive,” he told the BBC.

The 23-year-old British actor also described the media's comparisons between him and more established actors such as Brad Pitt as “completely bizarre”.
