Angelina Jolie And Father Jon Voight End Seven-Year Rift

Angelina Jolie's father Jon Voight has revealed they have finally ended their seven-year estrangement.

The actress cut off all contact with the Midnight Cowboy actor after he publicly urged his daughter, Michael Lohan-style, to seek help for what he described as her "serious mental problems."

But father-daughter are back “in touch”, reveals Voight

"We're in touch, but not regularly," he tells Us Weekly. "We love each other and that's the most important thing."

It's claimed the pair met face-to-face in February, after Brad Pitt encouraged Angelina to heal their rift.

"Angie made the initial contact," says a source. "Brad [Pitt] has been supportive - a key factor in her reaching out."
