Jim Carrey: 'I Want To Drive A Stake Through Robert Pattinson's Heart'

A Christmas Carol star Jim Carrey has claimed he wants to “drive a stake” through Twilight actor Robert Pattinson's heart.

The actor made the comment when asked whether he shared any dark traits with his character, Ebenezer Scrooge, in the festive film.

“I'm generally a live and let live sort of person, but I have to tell you I'm not only here to help present this film, but to drive a stake through Robert Pattinson's heart,” Carrey joked.

“He is the undead, people. Nosferatu!"

Jim Carrey is joined by Jenny McCarthy at the world premiere of A Christmas Carol.

Meanwhile, Carrey team up with his A Christmas Carol co-stars Colin Firth and Bob Hoskins to turn on the Christmas lights in Oxford Street, London on Tuesday.

The 50th anniversary of the big switch on also featured an appearance from the X Factor finalists.
