Nicole Kidman: 'I'll Never Discuss Details Of Tom Cruise Marriage'

Nicole Kidman has vowed never to discuss details of her marriage to Tom Cruise.

In an interview with GQ, the actress said she married Cruise in 1990 because she was genuinely “in love” with the actor.

But Kidman, who was 24 at the time, admitted that their marriage helped launch her acting career.

“I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody,” she said.

The couple, who adopted a son and daughter, split in 2000 – just months after their ten year anniversary.

However, Kidman, who married Keith Urban in 2006, said she had no plans to talk about her time with her former husband.

“I want to honour that marriage for what it was, and there is nothing I would go into about that,” she said.

“I have never discussed the intricacies of it and I never will.”

Cruise is now married to actress Katie Holmes. The couple have one child together, three-year-old Suri.
