Christina Ricci showed off her trim bikini body at Miami beach last week.

The actress – who has admitted to struggling with her body image in the past – looked happy and relaxed in her purple two-piece as she frolicked in the surf and strolled along the sand with photographer beau Curtis Buchanan.

Having battled anorexia in her teens and seen her weight fluctuate dramatically over the years, it seems Christina is finally at peace with her figure.

"All girls have body issues,' she told UK Elle last year. "I was no exception, except that I grew up famous."

Though the 29-year-old makes a conscious effort to stay in shape with regular exercise and a sensible diet, the former child star refuses get hung up about attaining the perfect bikini body.

"If you're obsessed with how you look in your bikini, you're not going to have much fun at the beach," she has said.
