Miley Cyrus has been voted the 'worst celebrity influence' by the teens and tweens that make up the majority of her fan base.
In an online poll at Just So You Know – a website aimed at 9-15 year-olds – the scandal prone Hannah Montana star beat Britney Spears and villain of the year Kanye West into second and third place respectively when it came to poor role models.

Vanessa Hudgens placed forth, possibly thanks her tendancy towards nude photo scandals, and Transformers star Shia LeBeouf came in at number five.
“I think Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being ‘Hannah Montana’ and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney,” JSYK's editor Stephanie Cohen told Reuters.
“I think her fans still want her to be the sweet Hannah Montana and she is trying to age up...Parents are definitely resisting it.”
Disney princess Selena Gomez
Miley has repeatedly attracted criticism over the last couple of years, mostly as the result of what some see as her 'age-inappropriate' behaviour.
There was her infamous 'topless' photoshoot for Vanity Fair, racy self-portraits leaked from a hacked Myspace account, the “slanty eyed” pose, and accusations that she dances too provocatively on her current tour.
As for the best celebrity influences, another Disney poppet Selena Gomez bagged first place, followed by Taylor Swift at two, and Nick Jonas at three.
