Angelina Jolie is facing not one but two books which promise to uncover her darkest secrets.

In addition to Andrew Morton's forthcoming tome, Michael Jackson biographer Ian Halperin is set to serve up his own expose entitled 'Brangelina'.

The investigative journalist – who has hit the headlines in the past for his bombshells about MJ, Britney and others – has turned his attention to Hollywood's golden couple and, he claims, the myth of their fairytale life together.

With particular focus on Angelina, it seems.

According to the press release, we will meet "the key figure behind the scenes who orchestrated her makeover into a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador," and learn "new details of her volatile relationship with and estrangement from her father Jon Voight, her struggles with suicidal impulses, her heroin use, her sexual exploits and her remarkable rise to become an Oscar-winning actress."

And Angelina's problems aren't just confined to her 'murky' past, it's claimed.

Instead, Halperin's book - which is out on December 1 - will allege that "Jolie's personal lifestyle choices are not only affecting her growing family but causing serious and potentially irreparable tensions with Pitt."
