Kate Moss has admitted she dislikes her status as a celebrity.

The supermodel told the Observer she struggles to talk about fame because she doesn't understand why people are interested in her.

"It's not me, it's a character I'm made into. I have no idea why people are interested in me,” she said.

“I don't like being famous. It encroaches on your life a lot. It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable talking about it, actually.”

But Moss, who has lived her life in front of the camera, added that her status was “something I'm learning to deal with."

Moss is currently promoting her fourth fashion collection for High Street store Topshop.

The line, which includes a range of luxury nightwear, is available now.
