Peter Andre has revealed he suffered a panic attack just hours after seeing pictures of Alex Reid playing with his children.

The singer said he found it “unbelievably hard” to look at the images of ex-wife Katie Price's new boyfriend with their two children – Junior, 4, and Princess, 2.

“It's any father's nightmare to see pictures like that and I went to bed feeling not only heartbroken but also massively anxious, which obviously brought on the attack,” he said.

Writing in his column for New! magazine, Andre revealed that the incident three months ago left him “with a really bad headache and I was hyperventilating”.

He said: "Having suffered from regular panic attacks years ago, I knew that's what was happening, so I got up with the intention of getting my brother Mike.

“I felt so anxious that I wanted him to take me to hospital, but I didn't make it out of my bedroom and all I remember is hearing a bang.”

Andre said that when he awoke he “stumbled into the bathroom and when I looked in the mirror, I saw that my whole face was covered in blood”.

The singer added: "The good news is that I haven't had anything like that since and I won't let anything get to me like that again."

Reid began dating Price in July – just months after her split from Andre.

The former glamour model also has another child, Harvey, 7, by footballer Dwight Yorke.
