Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz were among the Eclipse cast members who flew back to Los Angeles at the weekend after completing work on the third instalment of vampire saga.

Though filming doesn't wrap until later this week, many of the stars have already moved on, having finished shooting their character's scenes.

Another Twilight star to have already vacated Vancouver is Peter Facinelli, who plays Cullen patriarch Carlisle.

He told his Twitter followers on Friday: “All good things must come to an end. Wrapped on Eclipse tonight. Next stop Phoenix for Az State Fair Sunday, then onto NY for more N. Jackie”

Eclipse director David Slade also Tweeted about filming coming to a close.

He posted: "Best wishes now and into the future to all those who finished work tonight. Just a few more days shooting left. Finish line is approaching."

But the Twilight gang won't have time to get too comfortable - they will soon be travelling the world in support of Twilight sequel New Moon, which hits cinemas November 20.
