Robert Pattinson's friends fear he needs to go to rehab, according to a dubious new report.

Much has been made of the Twilight star rarely leaving his Vancouver hotel suite in order to avoid fans and paparazzi.

But Aussie tabloid NW reckons that not being able to go to the party hasn't stopped Rob bringing the party to him, or as their source puts it, “drinking to excess and indulging in other dangerous behavior.”

The notoriously imaginative rag alleges the actor has been “living his celebrity lifestyle to the extreme” with “a series of out-of-control benders.”

"His people are very worried and starting to think he should go to rehab,” a 'pal' is quoted as telling the tabloid.

It's claimed that Rob cleans out the three bars in his hotel suite daily.

It's probably worth baring in mind when considering these claims that it was NW that 'broke' the story of Kristen Stewart's pregnancy back in July.
