Nicole Kidman exercised her waxy features for a good cause on Wednesday when she testified at an International Violence Against Women hearing on Capital Hill.
The actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador spoke before a House of Foreign Affairs subcommittee on the subject of proposed legislation to address violence against women overseas.
Nicole conceded that the movie industry "probably" plays a role in promoting violence against women.
However, she added: "I can't be responsible for all of Hollywood but I can certainly be responsible for my own career.
