Alex Reid's female alter-ego 'Roxanne' made her first public appearance at Selfridges in central London today.

It's not easy to upstage Katie Price – especially when she's wearing a giant blonde wig and an outrageous scarlet gown – but her boyfriend managed it by turning up dressed as his missus.

His gold lurex cutaway leotard, headband and long dark wig appeared to be modelled on the revealing look Katie went for during a night out in Ibiza over the summer.

A rep for Alex initially denied Katie's claims her cage fighter beau was a transvestite who liked to be called Roxanne, insisting that he was "really p*ssed off about it."

But today Alex seemed more than happy to show off his beefy body in Katie's cast-offs.

He was joined in drag by the glamour model's male pals Andrew Gould, Daniel Price and Phil Turner at the launch of her latest book 'Standing Out, My Look, My Style, My Life'.

We haven't read the book (or, rather, looked at the pictures) but we're assuming Katie's top tip for 'standing out' is just be shameless!
