Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are (kind of) back together, according to multiple reports. Now it's claimed it was the singer and Miley fan that did all the running.

Despite it being Jen who is unable to shake the 'desperate singleton' tag, John reportedly contacted the actress and talked her round to giving him another chance.

"John started texting Jen again recently, and then he started calling her," a source tells BettyConfidential.

Apparently, Jen didn't need that much persuading.

"Jen still has feelings for John,"’ says the insider. "Even after they broke up, she would listen to his music.

"And when she was in between scenes when filming, Jennifer would listen to John on her iPod."

But, adds the source: "They are not totally back together. Jen doesn’t quite trust John yet."

John and Jen dated on and off between early 2008 and January of this year.
